Organized and hosted by the Finnish National Youth Council and Youth Sector (FYCS), the project aspires to transform into a long-lasting tradition aimed at making the Nordic-Baltic region the best place for children and young people. Together, the 200 participants will seek answers to challenges related to the green transition and youth employment – two societal issues that are very much connected to each other.
The first-ever Nordic Baltic Youth Summit was organized in Vilnius, Lithuania in fall 2024.
The Summit will be located at Hanaholmen that is located on its own peninsula just outside Helsinki. As a Finnish-Swedish culture center, Hanaholmen is the perfect location to bring together youth from all Nordics and Baltics.
The Nordic-Baltic youth are claiming the spotlight on November 28-29th, 2025.
The call for applications will be launched in August 2025. Stay tuned!
The Nordic Baltic Youth Summit 2025 welcomes participants from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, Åland, and the Faroe Islands, with an expected attendance of 200 participants.
The primary objective of the project is to enhance collaboration among young people in the region while seeking answers to the timely challenges related to the green transition, youth employment – or both.
