DAY 1: Your Future

With the Nordic Baltic Youth Summit just days away, we’reexcited to soon welcome all delegates and experts to Vilnius! Over two dynamicdays, attendees will hear from inspiring keynote speakers and engage in paneldiscussions.

On the first day, we are thrilled to feature a keynotespeech that takes a deep dive into the future. Titled "World 2049: YourUltimate Guide to the Future," Nicklas Hermansson will share his expertinsights on what various aspects of life might look like 25 years from now.

As one of Sweden’s most renowned futurists, NicklasHermansson played a pivotal role in transforming Aftonbladet—Scandinavia’slargest newspaper—into a global digital model. He later became the creativedirector at one of the world's most awarded Brand Studios. In 2022, Nicklasfounded the media house NomoFomo (No More of Missing Out), which curates trendsand phenomena shaping the future. His newsletter, NomoFomo Insights, hasbeen recognized as one of Sweden's leading publications, and he was recently honoredwith the prestigious Speaker of the Year award in the highly competitive AI& Tech category.

Following his keynote, Nicklas Hermansson will join threedistinguished panelists—Anne Jensdatter, Milda Mitkutė, and Solveig Korum—for adiscussion on the future of education and the labour market in theNordic-Baltic region.

Anne Jensdatter has served as Vice President of theNordic Youth Council since 2022 and represents the Nordic Social Liberal Youthparties. She is currently studying History and Politics at the University ofCambridge. 

Milda Mitkutė is the co-founder of Vinted, a socialmarketplace to sell, buy and swap clothes. Vinted is one of the world’s mostsuccessful Lithuanian companies. It became Lithuania’s first tech unicorn in2018 and has since then gained 65 million registered users in 21 countries.

Solveig Korum is a Senior Advisor at Kulturtanken –Arts for Young Audiences Norway, where she focuses on children and youthculture, with a special emphasis on sustainability issues. She holds a PhD inMusic from the University of Agder and was previously affiliated with theCenter for Development and the Environment at the University of Oslo.

Edgaras Narkus will moderate the discussion. He is aMaster of Finance student at Sciences Po, Paris, and the Founder and CEO ofEduMoves, a consulting company specialising in housing for internationalstudents. Edgaras holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology fromSciences Po, Paris, and Boston College.
